Cybersecurity startup specializing in continuous penetration testing, Strike LLC, has secured USD 13.5 million in early-stage funding. The investment will support the company’s expansion in the U.S. and Brazil and the launch of Strike360, an AI-powered pentesting engine designed to automate security testing.
Established in 2021 and headquartered in Uruguay, Strike links ethical hackers with more than 100 companies to provide scalable, AI-driven continuous penetration testing. This process involves ethical hackers simulating cyberattacks on a company’s security infrastructure to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
Strike’s primary service is continuous penetration testing, enabling organizations to proactively detect and resolve security vulnerabilities. By leveraging ethical hackers, Strike delivers real-time alerts for identified threats, along with actionable remediation guidance, helping clients strengthen their overall security posture.
Clients can adjust the scope of their tests even after they begin, ensuring assessments stay aligned with evolving priorities. Strike’s self-service platform enables direct interaction with assigned ethical hackers, promoting clear communication and ensuring testing efforts are customized to meet organizational goals.
Strike’s platform offers real-time reporting, providing customers with instant notifications when vulnerabilities are detected. Additionally, clients can generate and download compliance-ready reports at any stage of the pentesting process, simplifying regulatory adherence and streamlining compliance efforts.
While the use of hackers may raise concerns, Strike ensures that all its ethical hackers hold globally recognized certifications, including Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE), and Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE). Many of these professionals are also top-ranked participants on leading bug bounty platforms, often placing within the top 100. Their expertise guarantees clients receive comprehensive and highly effective security assessments tailored to their specific technologies and industries.
FinTech Collective Inc. led the Series A funding round, with participation from Galicia Ventures SA and existing investors such as Greyhound Capital Management LLP, FJ Labs, Canary Ventures, and Carao Ventures.
Alongside the funding announcement, Strike introduced Strike360, an AI-driven platform designed to automate security testing. Utilizing AI and machine learning, the service improves vulnerability detection, automates retesting, and simplifies compliance processes for enterprises.
The platform utilizes AI-driven attack simulations to identify hidden vulnerabilities that traditional tools often overlook. It also offers automated retesting, cutting detection times from months to seconds, and streamlines compliance processes, enhancing the efficiency of security certifications.
Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Strike, Santiago Rosenblatt, said, “Companies are spending millions on security, yet hackers still breach them before they are aware of their vulnerabilities and can react. Strike is already flipping the script – and our AI-driven platform will accelerate vulnerability detection, retesting, and compliance reporting even more, at an unprecedented scale.”
