SentinelOne Inc., a cybersecurity company, announced that WatchTower and WatchTower Pro, two newly managed threat-hunting services, are now generally available. These services are intended to assist security teams in identifying and thwarting organizational threats.

The two services were developed to address the daily problem that organizations face: sophisticated cyberattacks that move quickly and require quick detection and neutralization to protect their infrastructure and assets. SentinelOne contends that WatchTower and WatchTower Pro fill in the gaps for those who need more time and means to accomplish this.

With the support of knowledgeable human analysis and intelligence-driven threat hunting, WatchTower maximizes threat visibility throughout the entire organization and helps detect new attackers.

Access to WatchTower’s exhaustive in-house threat intelligence library, round-the-clock real-time threat hunting, detection of anomalous and suspicious behavior, and broader protection against both established and emerging threats are all included as features. Indicators of compromise, behavioral hunting queries, and additional vital security resources are housed in the library.

Security teams are claimed to be better able to obtain crucial visibility and insights using WatchTower. Users may enhance their overall risk posture and proactively manage their organization’s security.

Brian Hussey, Vice President of threat hunting and DFIR at SentinelOne, said, “Limited visibility into potential security breaches and increases in the volume and intricacy of attacks have significantly expanded the risk exposure of businesses and there is a critical shortage of skilled security professionals to mitigate it. With the expanded threat hunting capabilities now available as part of WatchTower and WatchTower Pro, customers can tap into SentinelOne’s unparalleled threat intelligence and leverage our security experts to quickly overcome these challenges and keep their business secure.”

SentinelOne users can now access the enhanced threat-hunting features provided by WatchTower and WatchTower Pro. SentinelOne services offered by managed security companies will also have access to the service.

SentinelOne last made headlines on January 3, when it declared that it had reached an agreement to purchase PingSafe Pte. Ltd., a startup providing cloud-native application protection, for an unknown sum. SentinelOne intends to bring about a “paradigm shift in cloud security” by incorporating PingSafe’s CNAPP into its Singularity Platform.
