Based out of Israel, Orca Security focuses on offering businesses with enhanced visibility into their multi-cloud deployment on  Azure, AWS, and  Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Maintaining the same focus, the company, on May 5, 2020, released the news that it had successfully raised USD 20 million in a Series A funding round.

GGV Capital led the event, and it also witnessed participants like YL Ventures and Silicon Valley CISO Investments. Overall, along with its seed investment led by YL Ventures, the grand total of Orca’s funding has reached an impressive USD 27 million mark.

What makes Orca unique?

A significant feature that distinguishes Orca from others is its potential to rapidly provide workload level visibility even without an agent or network scanner. Alternatively, Orca works with low-level APIs that make it possible to gain visibility into what exactly is running in your cloud.

On the business front, Orca provides SaaS platform solutions along with providing work level visibility into public clouds such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. The company also offers security tools that are engineered to scan for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, malware, password issues, and secret keys in personally identifiable information.
