A partnership between the cybersecurity organizations CISO Global Inc. and Halcyon Tech Inc. will help businesses defend against extortion and ransomware breaches.

Following the partnership announcement, both companies will make their services available to give integrated options to combat ransomware and other cybersecurity issues, including malware and phishing.

According to organizations, ransomware is one of the biggest threats to enterprises, and there are few effective ways to safeguard endpoints and networks. They assert that the vastly varying quality of the currently available monitoring solutions has yet to do a lot to curb the widespread rise of ransomware. The new partnership is going to assist in the purpose of controlling the breaching practices.

Nasdaq-listed cybersecurity company devoted to cyber resilience, CISO Global collaborates with clients at every stage of their cybersecurity development. By offering solutions that combine compliance and security to address complex cybersecurity concerns, the company hopes to foster a culture of cybersecurity throughout organizations.

Halcyon is funded by venture capital, providing a platform for cyber resilience to combat ransomware. The Halcyon platform uses a multilayered strategy to protect from ransomware, including pre-execution ransomware prevention. It uses AI and ML engines to identify and block any known malicious executables, such as off-the-shelf commodity ransomware.

The platform from Halcyon, with its AI and ML technologies, will enhance the services offered by CISO Global. The companies expect combining their services will result in a robust line of defense against phishing, malware, and ransomware attacks.

The cooperation intends to deliver a more comprehensive, effective, and resilient strategy to resist cyberattacks by incorporating Halcyon’s ransomware prevention capabilities into CISO Global’s multilayered approach. Additionally, the alliance wants to foster a climate of cyber resilience by enhancing understanding and boosting effectiveness in addressing cybersecurity issues across organizations.

Ashley Devoto, Chief Information Security Officer and President at CISO Global, said, “Halcyon is a pioneer in the anti-ransomware field and is purpose-built to combat encryption and data exfiltration. This partnership will open the door for exciting collaborations and will bolster the ransomware capabilities we offer our clients moving forward.”

The last time Halcyon made headlines was in April when it raised USD 50 million in fresh capital to quicken the platform’s development. SYN Ventures LLC, Dell Technologies Capital LLC, and Corner Ventures LLC are a few of its investors.
