Recently, Detectify AB, an External Attack Surface Management startup, unveiled a new integrations platform to empower security teams and provide them with increased flexibility.

With the introduction of the new platform, Detectify is now open to speedy and streamlined integrations. Security teams can now easily incorporate highly precise data from the hacker-powered EASM platform into their preferred tools without disrupting their workflows. The term “hacker-powered” describes Detectify’s utilization of a worldwide community of skilled and ethical hackers to strengthen its service.

At the forefront of the company’s new integrations platform are features that simplify processes and fortify security measures. These include the capacity to import top-notch vulnerability data into ongoing workflows directly. By enabling security professionals to use the tools that align with their individual use cases, this feature is expected to be particularly helpful. These tools can encompass those shaped by factors such as industry regulations, risk tolerance levels, or the organization’s overall maturity.

To cater to the diverse requirements of security teams working in tandem with several product development teams, Detectify has designed its platform to enable the creation of integrations that offer customizable parameters. According to the company, this feature enables teams to assign specific attributes to vulnerability findings, facilitating more effective collaboration between security and development teams. As a result, the resolution of vulnerabilities can be expedited.

Detectify also claims that the platform expedites resolution by enabling swift delivery of vulnerability data to development teams. Through the new integrations platform, the information about vulnerabilities can be conveyed directly to the everyday tools developers use, which helps simplify comprehending and prioritizing remediation efforts.

To provide preset integrations with popular tools like Slack, Jira, Trello, Microsoft Teams, Splunk, OpsGenie, and HTTP webhooks, the integrations platform of Detectify is powered by Workato Inc.

“Most of the EASM offerings today are part of a larger organization or suites of security tools, which often brings limitations when using their data,” Rickard Carlsson, Co-founder and Chief Executive, said before the announcement. “Detectify is committed to bucking this trend, giving our customers unmatched security telemetry and the flexibility to use it in whatever way best fits them so they can keep their business secure while continuing to ship new products and features.”

According to Crunchbase, Detectify, a startup backed by venture capital, has secured USD 42 million in funding. Notable investors in the company include Insight Venture Partners LLC, Inventure LLC, First Fellow Partners Oy, Balderton Capital (UK) LLP, and SquareOne App Ltd.
