  • The BX4 engine analyzes millions of assets and instances of vulnerabilities using generative AI, deep learning, and other specialized machine learning approaches.
  • According to the business, customers who used BX4 before it was made generally available saw a 37% risk reduction in just six months and three times more insight into assets, vulnerability instances, and security measures.

Cybersecurity posture startup Balbix Inc. announced BX4 engine, an AI-based cyber risk management solution that claims to provide unprecedented evaluation capabilities, risk ceasing, and visibility into cybersecurity hurdles.

The BX4 engine, unveiled this week in San Jose at the Nvidia GTC AI conference, uses Nvidia technology to improve cybersecurity risk management by efficiently handling risks related to locating critical vulnerabilities and assessing the effectiveness of security solutions. The engine analyzes millions of assets and instances of vulnerabilities using generative AI, deep learning, and other specialized machine learning approaches. It then provides real-time, actionable recommendations to lower cyber risks quickly.

Vinay Sridhara, Chief Technology Officer at Balbix, said, “At Balbix, we believe that AI should be at the forefront of cybersecurity, not just on paper but as a tangible, powerful force providing actionable insights. Nvidia technologies allow us to push the boundaries of what’s possible in cyber risk management.”

It is claimed that the BX4 engine tackles a fundamental cybersecurity challenge: turning unprocessed data into useful insights that enable efficient risk mitigation. To train large language models, Balbix BX4 integrates Nvidia TensorRT-LLM and Nvidia Triton Inference Server with Nvidia GPUs and the full-stack Nvidia AI platform. Cybersecurity professionals may get real-time, actionable insights into risk reduction using the models that support asset analysis, vulnerability, and risk models.

According to the business, customers who used BX4 before it was made generally available saw a 37% risk reduction in just six months and three times more insight into assets, vulnerability instances, and security measures. Additionally, it enables security professionals to demonstrate the return on investment of various projects and assess the efficacy of their security program.

According to Tracxn, Balbix is a venture capital-backed firm that has raised USD 100 million in funding. Mayfield LP, JC2 Ventures LLC, Redline Capital Management LLC, Moderne Ventures LP, Alter Venture Partners LP, Nautilus Venture Partners LP, Third Point Ventures LLC, and Singtel Innov8 Pte. Ltd. are among the investors.
