Baffle has announced its Data Protection Services (DPS) to support dynamic data masking, data de-identification, and adaptive data security controls for Amazon Redshift.

Being the only solution, Baffle DPS offers seamless integration with AWS Database Migration Services, AWS S3, AWS Glue, and Redshift without any code changes to provide end-to-end protection of the modern data pipeline.

Without hampering performance, more than tens of thousands of Redshift customers will make use of Baffle’s transparent data security mesh. It would help secure every step of the data pipeline as the source data will be moved to Redshift and applied for data analytics.

Baffle DPS effortlessly de-identifies data as it is transferred to the Redshift environment and provides approved users with selective re-identification while allowing a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) or HYOK (Hold Your Own Key) customer-owned model. This enables businesses to derive maximum value and insights for business operations from sensitive data in the cloud while maintaining compliance with industry and regulations.

“Data is the new oil and the heart of innovation. As companies collect, move, and analyze more data, they open themselves to further risk,” said Ameesh Divatia, Co-Founder and CEO, Baffle.

“Baffle instantly protects data at every stage of the data pipeline to multiple cloud storage, staging and analytics platforms. By adding Baffle’s transparent data protection layer, enterprises keep pace with the diversity of cloud data models while deriving value out of their data.”

Along with a wide range of other Amazon Web Services, Baffle’s support for Redshift is another example of its commitment to extending its cloud data protection policy, enabling customers to retain the high level of data security and privacy they need to remain competitive.
