A Liberty Lake-based technology start-up building innovative technology solutions for businesses, Vega Cloud has signed an agreement with Armor, a global cloud security provider. The partnership aims to help optimize security and compliance for both private and public cloud workloads.

Merging Armor’s best-in-class technology with the Vega Platform will bring security and compliance for cloud workloads, endpoints, and networks.

In a recent ransomware attack against the Colonial Pipeline, the attackers could successfully extract over USD 90 million from businesses since the last year. Such a group of attackers is trying to develop Ransomware as a Service (RaaS) as an affiliate program building a way for non-sophisticated hackers to exploit businesses.

Explaining Armor Anywhere platform

Product Evangelist at Armor, Ryan Smith, states Armor Anywhere platform is capable enough to provide enterprise-grade unified visibility and cloud security across hybrid and multi-cloud environments supported by a 24×7 security operations center (SOC).

Armor Anywhere is a highly customizable platform that helps address major compliance frameworks, including PCI (Payment Card Industry), HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 /HITRUST (Health Information Trust Alliance.), and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
